Brussels – The agreement signed by Digital Magics, the “incubator” for innovative startups listed on the Aim Italia market of the Italian Stock Exchange, and the “ulaola” (an incubated startup that promotes and sells Italian products in Italy and abroad) with Confartigianato seeks to support Italian artisans and promote the internationalization and digitization of their activities and products. The agreement aims to increase the number of Italian small businesses that sell online, today still at 5% with a European average of 14 %, with peaks of 11% in France and 22% in Germany. In time, the reference markets for the sector will shift away from Europe, making it necessary to have a well-established online presence that allows new customers to get in touch. The aim of the 5-year plan is to cover Europe, starting from Nordic countries, which have the greatest number of online shoppers, to reach the United States in 2018. (9Colonne)
