Cannes – Until May 25, Italian cinema will be at the Cannes Film Festival with its own space, the Italian Pavilion (No. 131) located within the vast International Village. The space has been made possible thanks to the contribution of the Directorate General Cinema-Mibact with Anica and ICE. The Italian Pavilion, which this year also sees the presence of Rai Cinema, International Film Festival of Rome, Fondazione Ente dello Spettacolo and Italian Film Commissions, has become over the years a convivial meeting place for professionals that comes alive with daily appointments and activities to promote and support Italian cinema. The Luce Cinecittà Institute oversaw the design and construction of the space, and coordinated the events held inside. (9Colonne)
