New York – Massimiliano Finazzer Flory bring to New York, at the Kaplan Penthouse at the Lincoln Center, his ” Futurist evening,” which celebrates the most innovative art movement of the 20th century through readings from some of its disruptive manifestos, musical performances and dance routines. Finazzer Flory’s show offers an anthology of texts from the Fondazione e Manifesto del Futurismo (1909), Manifesto dei drammaturghi futuristi (1911), Parole in libertà by Marinetti Zang Tumb Tuuum (1912), La Fontana Malata by Aldo Palazzeschi (1909) and Giovanni Papini’s declarations published on the Lacerba journal Perché son futurista (1913). The “Futurist evening” also explores the musical component of the movement with original improvisations on a theme. The whole will be completed by contemporary dance performances. (9Colonne)
