Pola – The Opera House “Giuseppe Verdi” of Trieste will bring to the Arena of Pula its own lyrical repertoire starting in the summer 2015. The transnational partnership agreement was described as innovative by Culture Counselors in Friuli Venezia Giulia, Gianni Torrenti, and Pula, Jasmina Nina Kamber, who met in Trieste. The Agreement provides that the Trieste theater export to Pula the best known Italian operas. The common cross-border project intends to be a tourist and promotional effort, effectively creating a multitasking network. When Torrenti and Kamber signed the agreement, both expressed their desire to bring high quality operas at acceptable economic costs to the arena, which can hold 7.000 people. (9Colonne)
