Nakhodka – Pirelli and Rosneft signed two memorandums of understanding that expand their industrial and trade cooperation. One agreement provides for the opening of new Pirelli stores through Rosneft’s filling stations network; the other provides for cooperation in manufacturing and supplying of synthetic rubber. The trade agreement provides for the opening of at least 60 Pirelli stores between 2014 and 2015; while, as per the industrial agreement, Pirelli and Rosneft will collaborate in Nakhodka in the production of synthetic rubbers. Pirelli is also interested in entering into a long-term supply contract for the purchase of SBR, an eco-friendly material used in the production of “green tires,” also produced in Nakhodka.
