June 5 – A square, a restaurant, a market, the movie theater, a library and a university: a real Italian town has been built in Russia to recreate the perfumes and colors of Italy’s most traditional products. For two days – on June 7-8 – “Italomania” will transform Moscow’s Central House of the Artist in a small Italian town. The Italian newspaper Mosca Oggi, in collaboration with the Committee for the Russia – Italy Year of Tourism, the Italian Cultural Institute, the ICE Agency and ENIT, organized the second edition of the great event dedicated to the diffusion of Italian language and culture among Muscovites. As stated on the website, Italomania aims to spread in a fun and original way Italian culture. The program includes lectures, seminars, and an exhibition of local products and film screenings, as well as concerts, exhibitions and a book fair.
