London – The President of the Region of Puglia, Nichi Vendola, will be in London on June 11 to attend the Leicester Square premiere of the English musical “Walking on Sunshine,” set and filmed entirely in Puglia. After Vienna, Berlin and Monaco, the London premiere is the highlight of the fourth stop of the # Weareinpuglia roadshow, organized by the Puglia Region, Department of Mediterranean Culture and Tourism, through Pugliapromozione. The roadshow kicked off in April, bringing a new program of events and activities focusing on the Puglia brand to the general public. In the afternoon, at 4pm, Vendola will visit the Puglia Village on the South Bank, where the public can experience and live images, smells, sounds, tastes, music and traditions of Puglia. During the visit, President Vendola will also meet with the Italian Ambassador, Pasquale Terraciano. (9Colonne)
