Nairobi – The theater to rehab and change the lives of who does it and who stand as. This is the idea of the AMREF School of Street Theatre made by and with young people in Nairobi, Kenya. On June 20th there will be a parade on the streets of the Kenyan capital, in the suburb of Dagoretti, as the final act of ten theatre workshops. Theater is just one of many tools in a project of children care and protection, “Child in Need”, which since 2000 has as its goal to re-integrate and re-socialize vulnerable children back into the family unit and community.
