Herat – A new clinic has been opened in the district of Baba and Barq, in Herat, by Italian troops of the Regional Command West, the Italian-led ISAF command-based on the Brigade Sassari. The facility is equipped with all the primary health care services and ensure adequate medical care to the inhabitants of a particularly populous city, which still lacks a proper health care system. The hospital, directed by Dr. Fariba, is composed of a large main entrance that also serves as a waiting room, a wing designed to accommodate women and children and another one including general services, reserved for male staff.
