Prague – The Baroque chapel of the Italian Institute of Culture in Prague (Vlasska 34) will host – until Friday, August 1 – the exhibition “ItaliArts. Italian contemporary artists in Prague.” The exhibition brings together a selection of works by 40 renowned Italian artists, mainly from Friuli-Venezia Giulia and the Triveneto area. The exhibition’s catalog includes an introduction by Mario Guderzo, director of the Antonio Canova museum and plaster casts gallery in Possagno (province of Treviso) and a special presentation by Giovanni Sciola (Director of the IIC in Prague). The catalog presents the artistic biographies of the artists and was edited by Carlo Foramiti and Sonia Paolone for Editoriale Giorgio Mondadori. The event is part of the project “ItaliArts” (by Aura, the Artistic Cultural Association of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Artestruttura by Giancarlo Caneva and the IIC Prague) to celebrate the Italian Presidency at the Council of the EU.
