Hong Kong – Italian wine arrives in China thanks to the Istituto Grandi Marchi and the Italia del Vino Consortium. Together, the two institutes established a three-year project called “Italy in China,” whose goal is to train future Italian wine ambassadors in China. Until July 15, a delegation of 45 top opinion leaders from China and Hong Kong will follow an educational tour through the wineries and vineyards of Italy. During their journey, they will also visit the historic cellar Carpenè Malvolti, which produces sparkling wine. Founded in 1868, the Carpenè family has greatly contributed to the development and establishment of best practices in the production of Italian prosecco and spumante. (9Colonne)
