Seoul – South Korea may be interested in the DITENAVE model, the shipbuilding and marine technology district promoted by the Regional Administration of Friuli Venezia Giulia. This was confirmed by a visit to Monfalcone of a delegation from the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Rome, led by Jin-Wook Hong -economic adviser. Within the DITENAVE experience, the Korean delegation appreciated the role of the Regional Administration to promote a network of “governed relations” between large enterprises (Fincantieri above all) and small and medium-sized enterprises, universities, research centers and training programs, and local business incubators, as well as national and European research institutions. The Korean delegation confirmed its interest to develop with DITENAVE and with the companies in the nautical sector other forms of collaboration. (9Colonne)
