Brussels – Italian design contributes to the success of the Made in Italy brand, creating the image of a “life style” that includes fashion, food, and Italy’s unique cultural heritage. For the Italian Presidency in Brussels, FederlegnoArredo and Adi are promoting the leading Italian design companies at the headquarters of the Council of the European Union with a number of initiatives combining art and design. The Council’s lobby now hosts the suspended installation “Terzo Paradiso” by Michelangelo Pistoletto, while the entrance hall on the ground floor has put on display the 20 winning products of the Premio Compasso d’Oro Adi. On the reception floor, the boardrooms are furnished by FederlegnoArredo. On the same floor six products from the historical collection Compasso d’Oro Adi are exposed to tell the story of the company’s production and its award to promote Italian design. (9Colonne)
