July 23 – This year, there is more anticipation than usual among international vintage car collectors, as they get ready for the annual August event in Pebble Beach, California. This year, two extraordinary classic Ferraris, a 275 GTB / C Speciale and a 250 GTO, will be auctioned off. In neither case have experts given an estimated selling price, but most think that the two cars will sell for as much as – and perhaps exceed – the 2013 record for a private sale of a GTO, sold at 38.45 million, or the records registered at an auction, namely the 2011 Testa Rossa sold at 11.91 million, and the 1954 Ferrari 375-Plus sold at Goodwood for 13.5 million.
