(Aug. 6) Over 1,400 exhibitors from 56 countries already confirmed, with new entries from Malta, Mexico, Thailand, Ukraine, Zimbabwe. These are the numbers of Marmomacc 2014, the 49th edition to be held in Verona from September 24 to 27. Even this year, the international event will be one of the major events in the industry, a not-to-miss appointment for buyers from all over the world. In fact, as in every edition, the focus is still on foreign demand, which is crucial for enhancing marble products and technologies made in Italy, which in 2013 exported 71.5% of their production, with a trade balance of 2.4 billion Euros. In the top ten of the preferred markets, reported by the Italian exhibitors at Marmomacc, the United States is confirmed in the lead, followed by Russia, China, Italy, Brazil, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, India and Turkey.
