(Aug. 11) Italcertifer, the certification company of the FS Group led by Carlo Carganico, will certify to European standards the railway line that connects the cities of Tithoréa and Domokos, along the Athens – Thessaloniki line. Gek Terna, Aktor, and J & P entrusted the task to Italcertifer. The Tithorea – Domokos line consists in more than 100 kilometers of double track, which will raise to 200 km / h the commercial speed of trains. Italcertifer will thus test at the conclusion of the upgrading works and certify the railway infrastructure systems, management and traffic control, the signaling ETCS-L1 and the energy systems, the galleries, and the structures in place to facilitate access to persons with reduced mobility.
