Cambridge – To study the migration patterns of Trentino wildlife, the Fondazione Edmund Mach, based in San Michele Adige (Trento), has initiated two research projects funded by two prestigious foreign universities: the University of Harvard and the University of Ghent (Belgium). The two partner organizations will support studies carried out by two students selected from the Research School of San Michele, known as FIRST (FEM International Research School Trentino). Nathan Ranc will go to the United States to research, under the guidance of Professor Paul Moorcroft, the effects of climate change on the movements of ungulates. Johannes De Groeve will focus on developing innovative techniques and methods to model the distribution of wildlife within European Union, with the help of Professor Nico Van de Weghe. (9Colonne)
