Maputo – Italy will participate in Facim, the multi-sector international fair held in Maputo August 25-31. The primary objectives are to encourage the involvement of Italian companies in the local market, rich in raw materials and natural resources, and to foster collaboration initiatives with the local productive system. To this end, the ICE Agency has selected the best performing participating companies to showcase to local partners. The Italian Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Carlo Calenda, will officially open the Italian pavilion on August 25, which will host 75 booths, occupied by companies, groups and institutions engaged in Mozambique, including the Italian Cooperation Agency, the Dream Program of the Community of Sant’Egidio, and the Association of Italian Entrepreneurs in Mozambique. For the fair, the ICE will put together a catalog on the participating Italian companies, which will also benefit from a service center. (9Colonne)
