Shangai – Last week Poltrona Frau inaugurated its first flagship store in Shangai. The area of 370 sqm exposes its shop windows on Tongren Road, the popular road of Jing’An District. This is where the Italian and the millennial Chinese cultures meet: the flagship store it’s in fact a fusion between two excellences. During the opening night a Poltrona Frau artisan demonstrated the hand making of the Chester armchair, the iconic piece designed by Renzo Frau in 1912, the year when Poltrona Frau company was founded.
