(Sept. 25) – “Sun European Tour” is Mario Biondi’s European tour, which will bring him to perform in major cities. The tour kicks off on October 13 in Paris (Le Théâtre de l’Atelier), to continue in Vienno on October 6. His concert in Amsterdam on October 23 sold out quickly, so the artist decided to add another date on October 22. He will then continue on to Istanbul on October 24 (Babylon Club), on November 23 in Moscow (Moscow International of Music), and November 25 in Bratislava (Atelier Babylon). What’s more, Mario Biondi will be the special guest to great Portuguese singer Paulo Gonzo, with whom he will duet on November 14 in Lisbon (Meo Arena) and on November 15 in Guimarães (Pavilhao Multiusos) alongside Latin music stars such as Ana Carolina, Carlos Rivera, Fefa De Belem and Jorge Palma. 2014 was clearly Mario Biondi’s year, with the staggering success of “Sun”, which went platinum. The artist is now ready to bring his music beyond the Italian borders, accompanied by his historic band, the “Italian Jazz Players”: Daniele Scannapieco for the sax and flute, Tommaso Scannapieco playing electric bass and double bass, Gianfranco Campagnoli and his trumpet, Lorenzo Tucci at the drums, Claudio Filippini on the piano, and Michele Bianchi playing guitar.
