(Oct. 2) La Traviata played through an “unpredictable melee, where the dancer is the tool that translates, transforms and enhances the evocative power of the work and the body, giving new voice to the passion of Violetta and Alfredo, and the tragic end of their love story.” All this will happen at the Italian Cultural Institute in Budapest, on October 6 at 7 pm, where the Compagnia Artemis Danza, founded in 1994 by Monica Casadei, will propose Verdi’s masterpiece. The show is part of the exhibition “Italian sounds of yesterday and today.” (Red)
