(Oct. 7) After the success in South Korea at the Asia Wine Buyers Conference, Vinitaly International Academy is ready to fly to Europe. The tour begins today i: “A Taste of Excellence” will bring to Germany, Austria and Switzerland some of the best Italian wines from prestigious local winemakers. The tour will start from Frankfurt, the it will continue tomorrow in Dusseldorf, then it will land in Monaco of Bavaria on October 9, in Zurich on October 14 and in Vienna on October 15. “Initiatives like this have a big impact for the incoming events in the Country: Vinitaly is a virtuous example in this sense, with about 36% of foreign buyers present at the last edition, headed by Germany,” said Ettore Riello, President of VeronaFiere. The European tour “is conceived precisely in order to make known the more closely the best Italian labels, and to better prepare buyers and distributors in view of Vinitaly 2015 and with the Wine Pavilion at Expo Milan 2015,” said Giovanni Mantovani , Director General of VeronaFiere.
