Oct. 21 – “Mare Nostrum? Welcomed. Rejected. Missing” is a dance theater show that tells the tragic immigration stories of those who try to reach a new country by sea, fleeing poverty and war. Organized by TeatroLibero e.V. in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Hanover and the Italian Cultural Institute in Hamburg, the show brings to the stage through dance, music, images and fragments of evidence the disturbing plight of refugees in the Mediterranean. Extracts from the premiere will be staged on Saturday, October 25 at 7pm at the St. Pauli Kirche in Hamburg. (Cle)
