Oct. 24 – Museum management will be the focus of a meeting with museology expert Maurizio Vanni. Vanni will hold a news conference on Monday at 7pm in Asunción, at the Franca Bo Auditorium of the Museum of Sacred Art Foundation Nicolás Darío Latourrette Bo. The event was organized under the patronage of the Italian Embassy in Paraguay, as part of the XIV Week of Italian language in the world. Vanni will focus on “contemporary museology and emotional marketing” in terms of museum and cultural spaces management. In particular, Vanni will concentrate on the elements that constitute emotional marketing, an approach that aims to involve all the viewer’s senses so as to generate a feeling of belonging and affection. Vanni will give two lectures in Asuncion: one on October 28 on “See with your hands and think with your eyes. Perception in museums” at the Department of Architecture Auditorium of the National University of Asunción; and one on “Emotional Marketing” at the University of Cono Sur de las Américas. (Cle)
