Hong Kong – The first Australian leg of Vinitaly International and Vinitaly Academy at Vinitalia Down Under was a success. The event, organized in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Melbourne, is now ready for a new adventure: Vinitaly is preparing for Hong Kong, where on Saturday the excellence of Italian wine will attend the 2014 edition of the International Wine & Spirits Fair. Vinitaly International will occupy a hall of 900 square meters, hosting 119 exhibitors from all over Italy, with an important presence of Tuscany and Piedmont, for a total of over 600 labels on display in 90 booths. Vinitaly has scheduled eight master classes and four Executive Wine Seminars. The Vinitaly Lounge will be expanded to give more space to meetings with world champion sommelier Luca Gardini, who will present each wine a day seven winners of the “Best Italian Wine Awards.” (9Colonne)
