Paris – Cycling with the help of an electric motor without having to recharge the battery is the dream of many commuters. And now, it has become a reality thanks to Velorapida, an Italian company that produces vintage electric bikes. The new line of e-bikes, presented today at the Italian Embassy in Paris during “La Creazione, Italian artistic genius and its uniqueness in craftsmanship,” is called VeloPlus. VeloPlus represents a leap in terms of Italian technology and design, as it’s a new model of byclicle: behind the appearance of an elegant vintage-style bike, there is a sophisticated electrical system that reads and runs the engine to optimize human strength and efficiency, providing assistance in times of need and recovering excess energy when the stride is efficient.
