Nov. 21 – Emilia-Romagna companies look to Asia and their upcoming mission to Vietnam. The multi-sector trade mission will end on November 27, touching Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and the Binh Duong province. The participating companies all represent important sectors of the region’s economy, and will travel alongside Stefano Landi, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Reggio Emilia. The mission is a great chance to explore Veitnam’s business opportunities, also in terms of using Vietnam as a platform for commercial expansion in South East Asia, also to make the most of the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the European Union. The mission was born out of the Destination Vietnam project, co-financed by Unioncamere and the Emilia-Romagna Region with PROMEC – the Special Agency of the Chamber of Commerce of Modena, and sponsored by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Economic Development, the ICE Agency, with the participation of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam and trade associations.
