El Chalten – The Italian mountaineering expedition in Patagonia saw its first success thanks to Corporal Marco Farina, Corporal Marco Majori and Corporal François Cazzanelli, who left El Chalten last Friday and reached the Nipo Nino base camp on the Aguja de l’S peak. The three men followed the “Austrian” way, along 900 meters of rock. Farina, Majori and Cazzanelli reached the cumbre, the coveted Patagonian top. (9Colonne)
