Ciudad del Este – This past weekend the luxury department store “Sax” in Ciudad del Este hosted the first “Italian Fashion Weekend.” The event, made possible thanks to the fruitful collaboration between the Italian Embassy, Sax and the magazine Caras, anticipates the great “Year of Italy in Latin America” festival, which will officially start next January. The festival consists of a large number of cultural, commercial, and academic events organized by Italian embassies in the region to illustrate the best of “made in Italy”: ancient and contemporary culture, as well as scientific and technological achievements in the various fields.
