Kotor – How can Italy enhance luxury tourism in the northern Adriatic and create new development opportunities for the super yacht industry in the Gulf of Triest? With this dual objective in mind, last Friday Kotor, Montenegro, hosted an institutional and operational workshop between a delegation of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region, representatives of the Montenegrin port of Kotor, Porto Montenegro (Tivat), Budva and Bar and port agencies that deal with routes and moorings of large yachts in the Adriatic. The meeting, organized by the Region as part of its cooperation projects with Montenegro, laid the foundation for creating the adequate conditions to allow yachts over 30 meters, which usually station in the Montenegrin and Dalmatia Adriatic waters, to reach the Gulf of Trieste.
