Dec. 22 – From December 26, the Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Tirana hosts the classical ballet Cosi – Stefanescu Company with “Awakening of humanity”, a show with music by Stravinsky, Smetana and Enescu. One of the most famous and challenging Stefanescu productions, the piece toured theaters in Italy and around the world after its premier at the Municipal Theatre of Reggio Emilia in 1986. The Italian Cultural Institute of Tirana supports the important collaboration between the Tirana Opera and Ballet and the classical ballet company, founded in Reggio Emilia in 1977 by two former étoile: Liliana Cosi and Marinel Stefanescu. Their goal was to spread ballet culture through shows and professional training. The show will be in Tirana on Dec. 26, 27, 28 and 30. (Red)
