Dec. 29 – “… E pensare che dovevo fare il dentista…” is Renzo Arbore’s latest album. The ironic title refers to the artist’s father, who hoped for his son a career as a doctor. But music and entertainment outlined Arbore’s career, born in Foggia but raised in Naples. Arbore celebrates 25 years of activity with his Italian Orchestra, one of the longest-living orchestra’s on the Italian music scene with this album, which he discusses today on the radio talk show “Made in Italy.” “Made in Italy” is a program broadcast every week in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe and Australia by numerous radio stations on the AM and FM, as well as on Web Newspapers; it’s also available on podcasts and on social media. Arbore will share his thoughts, memories, and advice for a long and successful career; the musician will also talk about his life, shaped by Italian and Neapolitan music, and will drop some hints about his upcoming international tour.
