New York – Senate Vice President Linda Lanzillotta will attend the parliamentary delegation following the work of the United Nations Assembly in New York. In particular, on Thursday, September 21, the senator of the Democratic Party will open the conference entitled “Empowering Refugees and Migrant Women in the Integration Process” focusing on the issue of migrants and on the role women can have in the integration process, to which Among others, Filippo Grandi, United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and Maltese President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca will attend. The event is promoted by Women Political Leaders Global Forum, a nonprofit foundation of which Senator Lanzillotta is Ambassador for Italy and member of the Executive Board, in collaboration with the Italian Permanent Representation to the United Nations.
