Jan. 5 – ENI recently received an exploration license under the first Croatian Offshore Licensing Round, thus consolidating its presence in the country. The license refers to Block 9, situated off the coast of the Adriatic Sea, an area in which Eni has had a leading position for decades both on the Italian and the Croatian coasts. Eni will hold a 60% stake as operator, in partnership with Rockhopper, which will hold the remaining 40%. The assignment will be formalized with the signing of the contract, expected by April 2015.
