Vancouver – The film “Barolo Boys. History of a Revolution” was presented at the Vancouver Italian Film Festival with two sold-out performances in the presence of one of the two authors of the film, Tiziano Gaia. The film brings to the screen for the first time the story of a group of young winemakers who in the 1980s triggered in the Langhe hills, in southern Piedmont, a cultural and technical revolution, bringing the then little-known Barolo to the world . The film is an independent production of Stuffilm, based in Bra (Cuneo), authored by Paolo Casalis and Tiziano Gaia, the first as director, the latter as curator of the Slow Food-Gambero Rosso guide. The Canadian public discovered the “king of wines” also thanks to a tasting sponsored by Stile Brands & La Spinetta, Trialto Wine Group & Fontanafredda, BonVida Wines & Elio Altare. (9Colonne)
