Jan. 21 – Lyon’s Al Sirah is an international event dedicated to the world of hotels and restaurants. It will take place in the French city between January 24-28, with the participation of Zini Prodotti Alimentari, who is betting on Italian excellence and revised and corrected tradition in a contemporary optic: from Lasagne Emiliane the new sauce recipe for Carbonara with fresh eggs. Zini will offer to all foodservice operators a “good and genuine, both practical and competitive” product, pointed out the company in a statement. “The investments that we supported in recent years – says Jacqueline Delgado, Marketing Manager for Zini Prodotti Alimentari – allowed us to improve performance in terms of production capacity, versatility and attention to the environment. This, combined with a constant attention to quality and R & D, resulted in the launch of innovative products that distinguish themselves for taste, authenticity, convenience and energy costs savings.” The new Zini Cup line packs 300 grams of frozen dough ready in 5 minutes, is available in 4 variants: Penne arrabiata, Fusilli with Mediterranean sauce, Sedanini with 4 cheese cream, and tortellini ricotta-spinach with tomatoes. “We presented the Zini Cup at Sial Paris – continues Delgado – and we are very pleased with the response we got. The big advantage is the possibility to increase the consumption opportunities for a healthy and genuine product, like pasta, making it available in its out-of-home services: takeaways, fast foods and other areas that until today weren’t accessible.” The Sirah 2013 edition saw the presence of 2980 exhibitors and brands (+ 35.5% compared to 2011), of which 21% f (+ 35.5% compared to 2011) from 26 countries, presenting 631 new products, including 233 world premieres.
