Jan. 30 – Under a leaden sky, among the apocalyptic omens of a degraded Naples, Sergio is a taxi driver who receives some bad news. Nothing can go back to normal, and when Sergio looks at himself in the mirror he sees a 40-year old man who abandonded his music and got lost in the limbo of the city. His taxi then becomes a microcosm in which Sergio isolates himself, and accepts the outside world only in the form of his passengers, who become a crowd of memories, hopes, regrets, new opportunities. All this is “L’Arte della Felicità” by Alessandro Rak, winner of the European Film Award for Best Animated Film for Adults. The film will be screened at the Italian Institute of Culture in Brussels on February 9 at 7pm. The film draws inspiration from the homonymous original cultural event conceived by Luciano Stella, held in Naples since 2005.
