Feb. 2 – Euro-Mediterranean cooperation and Erasmus + are two projects that go hand in hand. This is why the Italian National Youth Agency, in collaboration with the Resource Centre Salto-Euromed, organized from today to February 6 two important events in Rome. The theme is the meeting of Euromed trainers to plan and evaluate the European voluntary service in Mediterranean countries and the technical training of the Euromed Unit working on Euromed Youth IV. Trainers and representatives from the agencies in Algeria, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Egypt, Israel, Lebanon, Palestine, Turkey, Finland, France, Tunisia and Austria will be greeted by general manager of the Italian National Youth Agency, Giacomo D’Arrigo. “This meeting is a further step forward in the ten years of successful cooperation between the Italian National Youth Agency and the Resource Center Salto-Euromed. The goal is to strengthen the role of Italy in Euro-Mediterranean cooperation in order to promote inclusive, smart and sustainable growth through the instruments that Europe makes available to our younger generations, like the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Voluntary Service. This is a valuable opportunity for Italy to take on the massive challenges of 2014-2020 programming in the Mediterranean,” commented the General Manager Giacomo D’Arrigo.
