Jerez de la Frontera –Sebastian Vettel’s Ferrari was a surprise: the fastest car during the first day of Formula 1 free practice in Jerez de la Frontera. “This is a good starting point – said the German – I don’t want to say more, because this is just the beginning. It’s all different, even the philosophy of the car, compared to what I was used to. But I immediately clicked with the team, the guys welcomed me so warmly. The lap times aren’t important for now, but we noted that the best was with medium compound tires. The real comparison will be against Mercedes, which has fast cars.
