Feb. 5 – The Italian Assembly of the Senate ratified agreements with the Isle of Man Government and the Bailiwick of Guernsey on the exchange of information on tax matters. The Senate also unanimously approved the ratification and implementation of the cooperation agreement with the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in the field of preventing and combating illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors. The agreement with Brazil on the work conduct of family members of diplomatic, consular and technical-administrative personel has also been approved, as well as the Treaty on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons. Finally, the cooperation agreement in the field of culture, education, and sport signed with the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina was also ratified. (Sis)
