Cairo – Cairo hosted a six-day training course organized by the Egyptian Radio and Television Union in collaboration with Copeam (the Permanent Audiovisual Conference of the Mediterranean) and the European Broadcasting Union. The course was open to 23 operators, including directors, production assistants, editors, cameramen and trainers from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Italy, Morocco, Sudan and Tunisia. The participants, under the guidance of Copeam and Ebu experts, made a cultural documentary, covering procedures from research to final editing. The documentary, confirmed the secretary general of Copeam, Pier Luigi Malesani, “is the result of an exchange between interprofessional and intercultural participants from different countries. It will be screened as part of the Annual Conference, scheduled in Malta Copeam on March 26-28, 2015.” (9Colonne)
