Maputo – The Italian Cooperation Directorate has decided to allocate an emergency contribution of €150 000 to the World Food Programme (WFP) in response to the emergency caused by the floods that recently hit the provinces of central and northern Mozambique. The Italian contribution will support the assistance activities of the WFP within the framework of the United Nations, allowing for the quick distribution of food to vulnerable populations affected by the floods.
