Feb. 24 – Riccardo Caruso, Matteo Di Iorio, Dario Occhipinti, Alessandro Piacquadio e Anna Chiara Pizzuti and Jacopo Scarpellino are the proud members of the LUISS team who brought home, for the second consecutive year, a victory in the most important univeristy competition on online financial simulations. The Rotman International Trading Competition recently took place in Canada, in the Financial District of Toronto, where the best talents from around the world competed in trading jabs, simulating actions similar to the actual practices of the financial and investment market. The LUISS students managed to defeat all other universities. “We hit the target for the second year in a row, knowing how difficult it is to obtain the same result twice,” commented Emilio Barone, Professor of Securities Market Economics, who was involved in the selection of the team. “This year, the LUISS is the first university in the world, the only non-American university – continued Barone – to have won the competition.”
