Rio de Janeiro – New technologies, smart systems, comfort and convenience are the keywords of the house of the future built as part of the NO.V.A. (Nós Vivemos or Amanhã or We are Living Tomorrow) crowdsourcing project. The initiative was launched by Ampla, the Enel Group’s Brazilian business that distributes energy to around 2.8 million people in 66 municipalities in the state of Rio de Janeiro. The interactive digital platform allows users to share their ideas on how to build a sustainable house in Niterói, just across the Guanabara Bay from the city of Rio de Janeiro, by using innovative technologies to solve everyday problems.
