Vienna – Sicily pays tribute to the winners of the 2015 edition of the Sanremo Festival. And it does so by delivering the title of Ambassadors of Sicily in the World to the three young talents: Piero Barone from Agrigento, Ignazio Boschetto from Marsala and Gianluca Ginoble from Le Marche. The three singers, who won the latest edition of the Sanremo Festival with “Grande Amore,” received the honor during an institutional ceremony held in the Palazzo dei Normanni in Palermo. Il Volo will represent Italy in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest (scheduled for May 19-23 in Vienna). (9Colonne)
