Gotizs – It ended with a silver medal, and fourth and seventh place for the Italian national junior Greco-roman wrestling team. The group was in Gotizs for the international Junior Open tournament. The silver medal was won by Ruben Marvice in the 55 kilograms category, after a well-foughtmatch which saw him overcome his teammate Jacopo Sandron (1 to 0), then the American Andrew Ibarra (9 to 0), the Kazakh Rakhmetollayev (8 to 1) in the semifinals the Italian Giovanni Freni (8 to 0). The final saw Marvice compete against the Kazakh Dastan Zarlykhanov, who managed to stop his run towards the gold with a score of 12 to 3. Fourth place went to Giacomo Giuffrida and seventh place to Riccardo Abbrescia in the 74 kilograms category. (9Colonne)
