Osijek – Osijek hosted the final stop of the Croatia mission that the Friuli Venezia Giulia delegation carried out under the leadership of Regional Council President Franco Iacop. The delegation included the president of the Udine vegetable market, Ferdinando Milan, the head of research and development at Ersa Sonia Venerus and Cooperation expert Graziano Lorenzon. The Tuesday meetings, held in Osijek and Vukovar, focused on economic issues like agriculture, timber production, renewable energy, industrial districts, and river transport. After said meetings, the delegation met with the Osijek-Baranja County Vice President, Zeljko Kraljicak, the Vice President of the Legislative Assembly and other representatives of the agricultural world and academic institutions specializing in testing and agricultural production. The goal of the mission was to explore further project ideas for collaboration between Friuli Venezia Giulia and Croatia. (9Colonne)
