Mar. 13 – Educational television, bad TV, good TV, new or old… In Montreal TV takes the stage: its history, its evolution, its protagonists. “Un televisore acceso – The art of black and white on TV” is an international seminar scheduled in Canada for March 25-27. The event has been disseminated by the Italian Institute of Culture in Montréal that – as part of the 5th edition of the Marché International du Film sur l’Art – supports the participation of Italian academics to the event. The seminar, presented in collaboration with Uqam, the Cinémathèque Québécoise and the Université de Montréal, will be hosted by the Cinémathèque Québécoise (335, boul. De Maisonneuve Est). Under the direction of André Gaudreault (Université de Montréal) and Viva Paci (Université du Québec à Montréal), the conference will discuss the first era of television.
