Mar. 17 The European Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering is a prestigious certification that will soon be assigned to students from the University of Pisa. During the General Assembly of the European Nuclear Education Network Association, held at the Dipoli Congress Centre in Otaniemi – Espoo in Finland, it was announced that seven Nuclear Engineering Pisa graduates were selected to receive the title of European Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering (Emsne). The seven engineers are Morena Angelucci, Vincenzo Bisogno, Matteo Montella, Andrea Mossi, Vito Quagliarello, Giacomo Saccone and Roberta Scarpa. The seven were eligible to receive the diploma because their program of study in Pisa, their internship abroad to carry out research for their theses – in an Enen institution – aligned with eligibility criteria. The internationalization process underwent by the Nuclear Engineering course brought the University of Pisa to significantly contribute to the Emsne certifications, and has borne conspicuous fruits in this regard, thanks to a network of contacts between the University of Pisa and other universities, research centers and Enen industry members. The Nuclear Engineering course is now taught in English and is attracting students from abroad.
