Boget – Yesterday morning, the Boget ski area, in the Rugova valley, hosted the winter phase of the first mountain safety course. Taught by instructors of the Italian contingent in Kosovo, the course was aimed at local staff, under the leadership of Peja Mayor Gazmend Muhaxheri. The course, which took place between February and March, was divided into three theoretical and practical training modules on first aid, topography, movement techniques on snowy terrain, and search and rescue procedures in favor of people caught in avalanches.
